Crew Intro Thursday
Welcome back! It's that time again, crew intro Thursdays! This time we are going to be meeting Hana!
2. What do?
Environment modeler, currently off of C&M due to new job demands.
3. What do I do in my spare time?
When I have spare time, I knit, sew, paint, and make jewelry. Anything that isn't a computer based art form.
4. A Motto you live by?
My go to motto is "Never look back darling, it distracts from the now"
5. What's my favourite cake?
I love any cake that is moist and chocolate. Tho cream cheese frosting on red velvet is a close follow up.
6. Why did I decide to work on an independent project?
Working on independent projects gave me people to interact with, and learn from, and new and fun experiences I would have missed working on personal projects.
7. What advice would I give to others considering working on side projects in their spare time?
Know your time, and don't bite off more than you can chew. I did a whole blog post about learning this the hard way, because it really is a valuable lesson. You may think you can do it all, but you need down time, and time to breathe. especially if you're like me and juggled a full time job on top of several projects. I DON'T recommend it-even tho it's an experience I wouldn't trade-I learned a lot about myself during it.
8. What have I learnt from working on Cat & Moth?
Energy is everything. When you are working with people with lots of energy it's hard not to get sweep up into the excitement. It really makes working with this team so much fun!
9. Ditto or Monty?
I gotta go with Ditto, she's what drew me to the project in the first place and I love cats. (Also I'm afraid of most flying bugs-moth's especially ICK!)
